Moseley aims to establish a lasting solution to the stubborn issue of street drinking and anti social behaviour, along with associated problems of begging, littering and rough sleeping.
This video shows how Moseley Community Alcohol Partnership’s partners joined together to tackle complex issues of street drinking, begging, alcohol-related anti- social behaviour. It looks at how we can achieve success (what works and why) and how that may be sustained beyond the two year period of the alcohol funding from the Government.
Enforcement is the first step and has made a fantastic difference already. However, the carrot and stick approach adopted by expert partners such as SIFA Fireside, Aquarius and Midland Heart Rough Sleeper Team means that complex issues are also being addressed – so progress might be maintained.
